The government has also made this announcement earlier, during the announcement of the relief package earlier, the government had said that if 100 employees work in an institution, out of which 90% of the salary is less than Rs 15,000, then their EPF will contribute.
According to this announcement of the government, the government will contribute this every month for three consecutive months.
Government is considering these things
Government official said that the government is considering this proposal in many ways.
First of all, contributions should be made to the account of employees of all companies earning Rs. 15 thousand per month. In this, 90 percent rider should be eliminated as before.
It is possible that it can be increased to 200 employees from companies with 100 employees.
Also, the government is also considering that in companies with 100 or less employees, the rider of employees earning Rs 15,000 per month should be reduced from 90 per cent to 60 per cent so that more and more employees So that we can come into the realm. If the government does this, then the companies in which the salary of at least 60 per cent employees is up to Rs 15,000, then they will also get the benefit.
