The Bajaj Pulsar 220F BS6 is not going to get any changes in terms of design or aesthetics. The bike will get a new catalytic converter and exhaust. The engine will be slightly retuned so that it continues to produce the same amount of torque as before. Rest of the ergonomics, capacity figures and dimensions will remain the same. The tyres and the brakes will also remain the same. No changes are expected there. The updating of the Pulsar 220F is crucial in one other manner. Buyers and critics have both talked about how they want a six-speed gearbox over the currently offered five-speed that is offered on the Pulsar 220F. The bike might not get that but it will be a boon for riders if  Bajaj decided to give the Pulsar one.

Currently the Bajaj Pulsar 220F has been priced at Rs 1.07 lakhs to 1.12 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bikes are going to be updated for BS6 soon and will increase in price.
